Correction-The mansion is Georgian revival and it was built in 1917.

This was closed in 2009 due to the housing bubble and stock marked crash. It was leveled to the ground in 2012 and sold for scrap.

The Phoenix Center was only part of a multi-phase urban renewal project for the city of Pontiac, envisioned and designed by the late C. Don Davidson, an architect and professor from the University of Detroit, ca. 1966-1972.

Built in 1980 as part of the Pontiac Plan it was called the Phoenix Center. In the Summer of 2004, it was re-opened and re-dedicated and re-named after a multi-million reconstruction project.
